Beautiful property, love that it is dog friendly, this host has thought about everything ftom dog beds to bowls, nicely stocked kitchen! For use it is close to my daughter so she can visit during to day, gives us a nice dpace to visit together!

Farm Getaway!

Had such an amazing stay! The farm is close to wineries, groceries, and the mountains. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for watching football and grilling! Could not ask for more!! Thank you for an amazing getaway.

Wonderful Farm Retreat

The space was modern, well decked out and had d a kitchen with everything you needed! Beds and living areas were very comfortable. Outdoor spaces were gorgeous. The host was very gracious and genuinely concerned his guest had a great stay. I highly recommend the space.

Wonderful relaxing days away!

My husband and I were down to explore the area as we are moving to Virginia in the next couple of months. We loved this place and you guys thought of everything to make it stress free and relaxing. Loved that we could bring our fur kids with us and had tons of room to play and run!! We will definitely be back!! We give it two thumbs up and 4 paws up!!

Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Our family enjoyed welcoming in the New Year at Whindale Ranch. The farmhouse was clean, decorated for the holidays and very private. We absolutely loved the night sky with no light pollution! We enjoyed traveling to Charlottesville and the mountains. Yoder’s market was also a great trip. We hope to be back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside area with bbq grill and sofas. Thanks for having us!

Farm House

I was traveling for business, covering much of central Virginia over a two day period. My dogs travel with me, and this was a perfect place for my trip. The house has all the amenities needed, and provided a safe location for my dogs to get some exercise off leash. Comfortable home, with lots of peace and quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay

We were in town for a wedding weekend and found this charming farmhouse and were immediately hooked! Our stay was great, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and watching the cows in the fields. The outdoor space didn’t get used too much but was so nice and the heaters made it very comfortable. This location is so perfect, just a few minutes into town which had many restaurants, wineries and breweries. We hiked Old Rag one day and it was just a quick 30 min drive. Torben and Dana were friendly and excellent hosts. We would love to come back again!

Farmhouse Stay

The property itself was great, roomy, clean. Our little dog enjoyed running in the grass and all the open space. She was trully excited. The posting stated that the farm was near wedding venues, shops, and wineries. This was the only disappointment I had--- nothing was NEAR us. We had to drive for miles wherever we went. I had no problem with the property, it was great. I just felt very isolated.
