THE APARTMENT

Gorgeous attic flat in the heart of Madrid, in the tendry Fuencarral street. This street lays in between the neighbourhood of Chueca and Malasaña. Romantic and spacious, this flat is perfect to enjoy some relaxing and exiting days in the city.

This is a very bright flat, peaceful and romantic, right in the middle of the centre of Madrid. You will feel very comfortable in this flat, equipped with all the commodities necessary for a perfect stay. Towels, sheets and kitchen tools are all included. You will be able to enjoy all the services and common spaces of the building, including a lobby with a caretaker who will look after you.





THE AREA

The flat is located in the heart of Madrid, in the most trending street of Madrid; Fuencarral Street, between Malasaña and Chueca. Is a perfect location to walk to all the cinemas, theaters, trendy bars and clubs, restaurants, museums and emblematic landmarks.

This flat Is perfectly connected with almost all metro lines stopping at 5 minutes, although you can walk to any emblematic corner of Madrid from this terrific location.

Hobbit Friendly

Great neighborhood and building. While the photos are accurate they don't convey how low the ceiling in the bedroom (the only room with a window) is. Agile hobbits would probably be quite comfortable. The app for check-in and communication with host left a lot to be desired.

Great location but be forewarned

First off--great management company, attentive in every way. Fantastic location that cannot be beat. Close to everything and metros. I was surprised how quiet this apartment was despite the busy location (don't be scared off by possible noise--it's not there). Hated the low ceilings/beams. Doorways are only 1.68m (5'6") or so. I constantly hit my head and couldn't stand up in 90% of the bedroom. Apt is accessible only by 21 step spiral staircase. If the staircase isn't apparently a hindrance, remember you'll need to carry luggage up/down. Wonky (though from their perspective ingenious) main access to building through an app that takes getting used to. It worked eventually but shouldn't need a video call to figure it out. (Set up a you-tube video, guys). No instructions on washer/dryer (?) or coffee maker (which, in turned out, needed disposable cups--not included). It would have been helpful to provide one cup and a map to the store where we could get more. Water heater didn't work (minor problem and easily fixed had we bothered to contact management). If I sound critical, please be assured I'd stay again because of location and the Charming Concept management. Although I'd attempt to get the apt below this one (Fuencarral I) as it wouldn't have the spiral staircase.

Great location

This apartment is conveniently located between the Plaza de Espana/Palace Real area and the museum district. There are good restaurants all around. The location could not be better. Calle Fuencarral is a fun pedestrian street, and the apartment is light with character. The only drawback is the low ceiling in the bedroom. If you are short and agile, it isn’t much of a problem.

Great apartment, great location, and great hosts. If you are very tall the beams in may be a problem, my husband is 6ft 2in and had to duck under the beams. If you have any mobility problems the spiral stairs may cause a problem, but everything else was great so we would definitely stay again.
