We didn't have a good experience with our family room at the lower level. Noise and out dated facilities. But the staff are very friendly and with good English. So they upgraded our room to a higher level. It was queiter with better facilities. Our last night with Melia was good.

There was construction and the noise was very apparent during the day, since we had checked in early since our flight was a red-eye. The charge for early check in was 100E, which I found exorbitant, especially since the construction was right outside! But it was in a very convenient location, a short walk to Grand Via.

Weā€™ve stayed before. We enjoy the location and the staff. They have a LEVEL area we purchased which is nice for relaxing and having snacks. They provided a special area for watching the World Cup games, which was very nice. They seem to be forever doing some kind of facade work, which was going on last year too. This hotel is well located to the El Corte InglĆ©s, restaurants, like Beata Pasta. You canā€™t go wrong!
