Luxury apartment in the Puerta del Sol and next to the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the best museums, theaters and shops in the city, Restaurants, Tapas. Logically well connected and close walking distance to all the sights of Madrid. It has 1 large bedroom, 1 full bathrooms, large living room, kitchen. Is located on the second floor is very bright. The building has two elevators. Fully equipped for your comfort with: Air Conditioning and Heating, Smart TV, WiFi 300MB free. The apartment has everything necessary for accommodating up to 5 guests, bedding, toalllas, crockery, dishwasher, microwave, hair dryer, etc. so that you feel as comfortable as in your own home. We rent this great apartment of 100 m2 newly renovated (August 2016), 4m high ceilings, sunny, central and charming and luxury. It is on the street Marques Widower of Pontejos in Puerta del Sol, the city center, within walking distance of the most interesting places in Madrid. It is the perfect place if you are looking for quality accommodation, economical and quiet in the city center, to feel at home. You can walk to most places of interest in Madrid.

APARTMENT - EQUIPMENT

The apartment is on the second floor of a stately building with elevator. The furniture and all the equipment is new, quality and design. It is therefore an apartment with all amenities and is perfect for rest at night after a long day of sightseeing.

The apartment consists of:

* Queen Room (king size), large wardrobe, mirror, Descalzador, etc.
* Possibility of 1 extra bed in the bedroom.
* They can accommodate up to 5 guests.
* Bathroom with shower.
* Fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking and eating in the apartment. It includes hob, oven, microwave with grill, washing machine, coffee / tea kettle and toaster, coffee machine and various utensils.
* Lounge / Dining room with sofa bed (140cm) seats and all amenities, with SMART TV.
* Air coditioner in all the house

Fantastic family vacation

Wonderful location with walking access to all “must sees” in Madrid. Home was very quiet and relaxing to come back to after a busy day in the city. Angel was a wonderful host! We will recommend this location to all friends traveling to Madrid

This property was perfect for our stay in Madrid. It was a very short walk to the Sol metro station in the Plaza de Sol with a large variety of restaurants and shops nearby. Our host, Angel, was very responsive and flexible as our flights changed after we had booked. The apartment itself was quite comfortable. There was an elevator, AC, and washer...all of which were much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property if you want to be in the center of avtivity in Madrid.

An oasis of calm and comfort in Madrid

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel’s apartment. He is a very warm and welcoming host who has not overlooked a single detail in making this an attractive, comfortable and quiet place to unwind from sightseeing in busy Madrid. The location could not be better. Highly recommended!

The apartment is located so close to Puerto del Sol and plaza Mayor. It is easily walkable to many attractions. Great Madrid Apartment

This apartment is exactly as described. It is in a wonderful location that is close to both plaza my and Puerto del Sol. We walked to the royal palace and other”must sees.” The hosts were very communicative and a pleasure to deal with. If we go back to Madrid this will be our destination.

Simply Amazing!

Absolutely amazing stay at this apartment. It was clean and tidy and was perfectly located. The owner, Angel, was a most incredible host. He welcomed us, even though our plane was late. He gave us a map and circled many areas of interest. He also gave many restaurant suggestions. And he welcomed us with a wonderful bottle of wine. If we ever return to Madrid, this will be the one and only place we will stay.

Great location and great owner!

We enjoyed our stay in Madrid. The apartment was located close to everything. Angel was extremely helpful and responsive. The only negative was some of the other people in the building were very loud late at night. Wishing there was a quiet policy in the hall.

Great Stay

First timers to Madrid. What an amazing city. So many neighborhoods that no matter where you are you seem to be in the right spot. PLENTY of restaurants near the apt. Right down the street from Sol Metro. Couldn't have been better. Angel was an Angel also. Gracias!

Great property - prime Madrid/Sol

If you want to be in the thick of Madrid and the fabled Puerta del Sol, this is the spot. Clean, well kept and really truly centric - you can “escape the noise” but remain in the thick of it. Even when the crowds can get overwhelming, the property is located such that you can find a respite in this vibrant and unique community. Great host, attentive, courteous and incredibly central location. Have no complaints only gratitude - really enjoyed the experience.

Purely Excellent!

Perfect location for sightseeing all of Madrid. Quiet but one block away from the action at Puerta del Sol or a few more blocks to Plaza Mayor. 15 min walk to main train/subway station for day tripping to Toledo, Segovia and/or El Escorial. Spotless and well appointed with great bathroom and nice kitchen. Angel was awesome! Met us there and gave us a map outlining all the sightseeing locations in Madrid which we walked to (so we averaged 7 miles a day so that may not be your cup of tea but great way to see it all). Would definitely stay at Angel’s place next time. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 6 nights in early October. We travel frequently across Europe. The location is excellent and a short walk to all major attractions, squares (Playa Mayor, etc.) and great restaurants / tapas bars. The owner (Angel) was the perfect host greeting us on arrival and taking the time to provide a number of recommendations on dining, groceries, shopping, etc. He even organized our return taxi to the airport, plus checked in a couple of times via text to ensure all was OK. The apartment itself has been beautifully renovated and nicely appointed (great bed and linens), yet retaining its original character with large windows, hardwood flooring and high ceilings. You could see the pride of ownership throughout - the unit was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect location, great host

The location is excellent, within walking distance of Plaza Mayor and Plaza Puerto del Sol, metro, many restaurants and cafes, Christmas market and museums. The apartment is well-appointed with microwave, electric kettle, toaster, clothes washer and dishwasher. There is no dryer but there is a large drying rack which serves the purpose. The host is extra special. Angel kindly met us at the flat early so that we could drop off our luggage and then, let us know when we could return to a clean apartment before the regular check-in time. When we came back, there was a bottle of wine and a package of chips waiting for us. In addition, Angel provided a list of restaurants, markets and tapas eateries. He also kept in touch to see if we needed anything. He even arranged transportation for us back to the airport, which went off like clockwork. The apartment has a good shower, with hot water and great water pressure. The bed is comfortable and an extra blanket was provided. We gave the host and flat 5 stars but we could easily give both 6 stars if it were possible. We love Madrid and our stay was great.

Great location

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for a week, and really liked it. The apartment is about a hundred meters from Sol, which is the closest Metro stop (as well as being the center of the city). If you are travelling by vehicle, the nearby parking is very expensive and driving into the downtown isn't fun. We left our car in a long-term lot at the airport for a very reasonable price, and then took their shuttle to Terminal 2 where you can catch the Metro service (it takes about 30 minutes and a couple of transfers to reach Sol). The apartment itself has a spacious bedroom, a modern bathroom, living/dining room, and very small kitchen. If you want to cook some meals for yourself, Lidl is within a 10 minute flat walk, and El Corte Ingles's supermarket in the basement is 4 minutes away. The apartment is clean and well maintained. We really appreciated the communication with Angel, who was really helpful with suggestions for sites to see in the city. We had an issue with an electrical circuit breaker, and Angel was willing to come by immediately after our text to him. However, we'd already found the electrical panel (it's hidden behind an art print next to the front door), and fixed the issue ourselves. By the way, this flat is rather quite as the rooms all face an inner courtyard rather than the city street. Finding this flat was easy using the address information that Angel sent along with Google Maps. We'd definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks, Angel. Scott & Han
