"This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Nothing special about this resort, it seems to be mainly for Chinese tourist groups. We were the only two European tourists staying there and it was eerily quiet after breakfast when the Chinese groups had left. Hotel was quite old and run down, not renovated for a while. Staff was friendly but did not speak very good English, we got everything settled anyway and they did their best. Food and the drinks in the hotel restaurant were delicious. "It's a lovely property. Quiet and clean. Friendly Staff. There is a small gym and 2 small pools.Around the hotel within 3 mins walk you will have the small day market area that sell local delights. Another 10 minutes walk, an up-scale supermarket called Rimping. To walk to old city square it takes about 35 mins. Alternatively, take Grab. It's easy and very affordable."
