"Great little place in Treorchy. Very impressed with the rooms and very polite and helpful staff. Only drawback is more structural as there seems to be subsidence (or similar) and this causes the shower to overflow onto the floor and out of the tray (seems it is leaning to the door and not going down the drain. Rm 1. Creating wet area having to ram the floor towel to stop it going everywhere. Not a criticism but maybe add bigger door seals at the bottom of the shower door or put a higher lip on the 'tray' etc. "

"We stayed 2 nights, family of four. We had the family room. Very comfortable, hot bath/shower. Kettle in room. Great food and service. Family run pub, Leigh and her staff were very welcoming and let our friends breakfast with us staying elsewhere. Great place for kids as they have a pool table and games out the back. Food and drink was delicious and they have a kids menu. Very pretty village near the river with a few shops and coffee places. We visited the Big pit that was fantastic well worth going to, a brilliant rainy day option. We also walked up Sugar Loaf and went horse riding. Would love to return. "

"We had a fantastic stay! The room was lovely with high end furnishings and facilities and large enough for our family of four. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food at the pub was delicious and the animals were a particular highlight for our children as well, especially Ronnie and Reggie, the talking parrots. The hotel was well located with ample parking and there was plenty to do within close distance, including the Show Caves which was a great day out. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Would definitely stay again! "

"Staff were brilliant in all areas. I could not get into my car as someone parked too close and as I have a back problem, one of the staff got in from the passenger side and got the car out. All staff were brilliant. One suggestion - as vehicle parking is not controlled by the hotel, they do not know the car numbers of the guests and there is no way to find out whose car it is. Please tell all hotels to take the vehicle number as it will be very useful in a situation like this "
