5/5 - Excellent
I was in Magdeburg to visit family. I enjoyed walking around the city and just visiting. We also went to Quedlingburg for the day, which was a wonderful experience.

Magdeburg is an eclectic city with lots to see if your expectations aren’t too high. The majority of the very old buildings were lost to WW II but we managed to have supper in the basement restaurant of a 600 year old building last night.
Good bike rental across from the train station.
