Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family fun vacation, Linger Longer Too, can provide you with an elegant home base, to relax, yet still be centrally located to all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

This custom built log home has been constructed on a ridge to take in the most fabulous views and night skies that seem to go on forever.

There's no better place to leave the stresses of everyday life behind and relax in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The large back deck with table and gas grill provides you with a fabulous outdoor dining experience (weather permitting).

The cabin has been tastefully decorated with your comfort at the forefront of our design ideas. Our aim is to think of everything, you'll need to make our home, yours.
The entry floor has two bedrooms one with king bed and the second bedroom has a set of twins. There are two full baths, family room and kitchen along with access to the back deck.
The downstairs has one bedroom with king bed, full bath plus a game area with pool table.
The driveway can accommodate two cars.

Location, Location, Location! Within fifteen minutes you can be at The Maggie Valley Golf and Country Club. Within five minutes you can be at The Cataloochee Ski Resort. Downtown Waynesville and The Blue Ridge Parkway are all a short drive. Within a half hour, depending on your destination within the city, you're in downtown Asheville.

Come to Maggie Valley, where you will find small town main streets, a thriving arts community, eclectic dining and the grandeur of the highest mountains in the east.

GREAT Stay

We had a great stay in Maggie Valley. It was a great location to Cataloochee (at the bottom of the mountain from skiing) and close enough to Ashville to ride over for the day!! The home is as described, check in was digital and communication with the host was wonderful!

Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful week at Norma's home. The location was excellent for a variety of activities in the mountains and surrounding areas. The house was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. Norma gave so many great ideas of things to do in the area. The 5 of us had a great time and hope to come again soon!

Winter Break Getaway

Had a great stay at Linger Longer Too! Really can't stay any closer to the ski slopes! Short drive to Waynesville and Ashville. Great view off the back deck. The bottom level is nice if you would like privacy for younger kids and a game room. Will book again for future trips.

What a location!

We enjoyed being able to get to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, to drive to Asheville and other towns all in under an hour's drive. The cabin is roomy, very clean and has all the necessities! Norma was wonderful and prompt in answering any questions. Lookin forward to staying again!

I absolutely love this property. It’s clean & well maintained. It has everything you can ask for, including a nice mountain view. I booked it 3 years ago for a girls’ getaway & had to come back! I’ll probably return again & definitely would recommend it.

Amazing cabin

Amazing cabin, we came up from Atlanta to ski for 4 days and this cabin was perfect. On the same road and a short 9 min drive up the hill. The cabin was so clean and perfect for the 7 of us. Just to address another review yes, it is in a small neighborhood, and you can see the town but above the town are beautiful views of the mountains and the location can't be beat!!!!

Great stay

The house is perfect for size. With two masters. It was cold while we were there but not in the house. Close to everything you want to do. Mountain View’s with out the crazy steep drive to get them. We will definitely be renting again!!!! Thank you Norma for the great stay!!!

Wonderful mountain view!

Great cabin, Amazing views, right off the back deck. Our family of 4 had a great time staying 4 nights, 5 days. Everything was so clean kudos to the cleaning crew. Also the cabin was well equipped with items you may have forgotten to bring. Our two teenagers enjoyed playing pool downstairs and looking out in the mornings to a mountain view. Norma thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Wonderful place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very assessable and was very nice as listed. The downstairs gave our older son a nice place to just sit and relax away from the old people. Great view and easy to Find. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no problems. Rabbits, squirrels and groundhogs every morning out the back door and an elk in the yard just behind the property on the main road when we got up our first morning there. We will definitely use it again if possible and would recommend it for anyone with older family. Easily assessable to older family that cannot utilize a lot of steps.

The house was very nice. It was exactly as described. I would have liked a TV in the second King bedroom down stairs, but made due. Our main issue was the cleanliness of the house. It was clean, but yet still dirty. Little things like the back deck downstairs hadn't been blown off. Lots of tree branches and leaves and grass clippings. Also, the dishes were dirty in the cabinet. Whoever put them a way never washed them. Also, the house is a little dated. There was a rain storm, and water seeped in the door jam. And the back deck was probably about due to be replaced. With all that said, I would probably book it again because it was nice, had a great view and a great location.

Maggie Getaway

we had a wonderful stay in Maggie Valley. My daughter and grand daughter as well as her friend enjoyed their stay. They shopped and visited waterfalls in the area. Our kitchen was well equipped and cooking was easy. Our light was out in the oven and over the stove and it made the doneness of our food a challenge but we were able to get passed that. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly look forward to next year!
