"The hallways and rooms were dirty. Broken, uneven tiles in halls and fake eyelashes stuck to the floor. The first room we were put in had plants growing out of the walls. Second room we had bug carcuses splattered on the walls and not cleaned, mold in the shower, and the floors looked unswept. There were no fridges or phones in either rooms which was uncomfortable as we were unable to call and alert the front desk when there was a commotion in the room next door that sounded like a physical altercation. The staff member at the front desk was very kind and understanding and helped us into another room when the first one had foliage coming out of the wall. Do not recommend if traveling with children as there were clear signs of prostitution on the premises. First night we stayed there was an unruly gues who broke out a window in another hotel room. "

The price was a bargain compared to other places in the area for the space you get. The host contacts you from when you book up until you leave, she walks you through everything— very smooth process tbh. The host was also quick to respond & is very courteous. They give you just about everything you’d need for your stay. Would absolutely book again! "

"This it the ideal location for all Royal Oak activities! A short walk to the Royal Oak Music Theatre along with all the shops, restaurants and coffee shop.It was also easy drive to the Detroit Institute of Arts as well as the Corktown neighborhood. Would stay here again. "
