In the green countryside of the Sabina and just a few km from Magliano Sabina lies this cozy vacation home, from whose swimming pool, built on a natural terrace, you can admire the valley all the way to the river Tiber. An acre of woods, where fireflies create a suggestive atmosphere on warm summer nights, surrounds the house, which offers a beautiful ambience for a relaxing stay by the pool or in the shade of the equipped garden. The farmhouse consists of two floors that are not connected. In addition, two bedrooms (one on the first floor, one on the second floor) are accessible only from the outside. Thanks to its location, this vacation home is ideal to visit cities such as Viterbo (45 km), Montefiascone (56 km) and Orvieto (60 km) or to explore the medieval treasures of the Sabina, Lazio and Umbria. The "eternal" city of Rome is 75 km away and Rieti 85 km. Upon request and payment on site, the landlady will be happy to organize the following additional services: Horseback rides, guided tours with professional guides (Rome- Florence-Naples-Venice); excursions in the Etruria region; visits to oil mills, vineyards and wine cooperatives; personal trainer, yoga, pilates, postural gymnastics, water gymnastics, belly dancing; massages, beauty treatments; private cooking service in the accommodation; cooking classes for rural cuisine (homemade pasta, bread, pizza); babysitting. Extra services on request and payment on site: Food and Wine tour with tasting (in English, with professional sommelier; The price depending on the wines is to be agreed on the spot); Photo tour of Rome, Orvieto or Florence (with professional photographer); Two-day nature photography course; Cooking course with a local cook to prepare a complete Italian dinner.

Lovely Country House
We had a great stay, it's like being in the country in Italy years ago. No modern amenities or decor which is OK. You get the feel of living like an Italian. You hang your laundry and do the dishes by hand (there is a dishwasher but it's outside the kitchen so not ideal), no microwave or coffee pot, you use a mocha. You do need mosquito spray as in the country there are a lot of bugs. The rooms are nice and all have showers, just the beds are hard but you get used to it. The road to get there is difficult but it is more secluded. We loved the pool and fireflies at night (magical). It's an hour from Rome and just a short drive to other cities which are really interesting. Grocery is not too far (they make good pizzas!) Owner is really nice and helpful. We'd visit again for sure!
