"Just a little unsafe in areas. But was so lovely."

"We arrived late in the evening, around 2330 local time with 3 children under 5 in tow. I had been in contact with the hotel several weeks prior to let them know about my arrival time, and I had been assured that there was no further action needed - I would be sent instructions 24 hours prior and that there was no need for anyone from the hotel staff to be there on arrival. On the day of travel and arrival, I received a message from hotels.com, which I mistakenly thought was from the property....

"Fantastic location close to a big city. Room was amazing and breakfast out of this world. The owner is a fantastic person who chatted with us with a great knowledge of the history of her area."

"Our host was very helpful and quite happy that we had arrived an hour earlier than expected. There was plenty of parking, the room was a good size and very clearn. Breakfast was amazing though sadly, because we had to get to Paris at a certain time and the farmers blocking the autoroutes, we had to leave early and couldnt take advantage of most of the excellent fare !"

"Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. There is not much “to do” in Willieman but if your travels lead you there, would highly recommend this place to stay. "

"Le Château - Fresnoy en Gohelle was a dream experience. The owner clearly loves this home and takes pride in sharing with others. It was like we had our own home all to ourselves. The ground were stunning, decorations incredible, breakfast was wonderful, and the owner treated us with kindness and respect. This was one of best experiences while on our 12 day France vacation."

"This is an extremely comfortable B&B in lovely green surroundings/gardens. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed and armchair to relax in. It is a large room; actually two rooms each with a queen bed. We were on our own but it could accommodate a couple with an older child or 3 adults. Might be a bit crowded for 4 adults. The bathroom is also large and modern with a great walk in shower. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good continental one which started out the day on...

"Booked through Hotels.com but the chateau was closed on arrival and had been closed for months. No notice was given by the hotel or Hotels.com."

Gave us advice on things to do and suggestions on where to eat. Simple but fresh & tasty breakfast ready in the morning was provided at out convenience. Overall a great place to stay in a relaxing & peaceful location. "
