"I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent. "

"Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door...

"Beautiful old hotel that was definitely what I would call faded glory. Lacking in amenities particularly in hot weather. Just a mixer shower in the bathroom and no shower curtain so had to be a sit down wash in the bath. No hairdryer."

"Was very meh, check in was painfully slow. Room had cobwebs in the corners. Very loud at night. Heater didn't work. Staff were helpful-ish after check in. Wouldn't return, even for and brief over nighter"
