It was a nice hotel to stay. But especially the staff was great and friendly.
Excellent staff....professional, personable, timely, friendly, informative, and courteous. Food and amenities were top-notch. Ready access to the beach. Superb excursion planning support.
Everything was PERFECT!!! Staff was exceptional!!! Debbie at Concierge, Kenny at Check in , Andrew and John at the pool bar and Jill at the Spa made our vacation most memorable!!
Laila was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Seychelles , conveniently located right across the road from the beach and a short ride into Victoria and other locations on the island.
Definitely recommend Laila as a place to stay in the Seychelles
Stay was wonderful, very clean property with good ambience. Rooms are wide and airy. Parking facility is available, restaurant is good and pool is clean. Location of hotel is very nice. Wifi working well, petrol pump and supermarket very nearby.
Very nice hotel with great staff. Late check-out was granted without problems. Access to the beach across busy coast road; rooms on that side a little noisy on a weekend. Pool bar was closed at 10 pm.
The staff was exceptional in making sure we were comfortable. They were also helpful in suggesting things to see and places to eat. The security made sure that our leaving out and returning after the main gate was locked was as easy as possible.

Gorgeous new resort on Mahé. The rooms are outstanding and the property has great amenities. The food is lovely. The only downside is that you have to cross the street to get to the beach. They have lots of fun gear to enjoy water sports. The beach restaurant has great food and a good vibe.
Great new hotel, 2min away from beach.
Nice swimingpool and just 1 year old hotel.
Buffet and restaurant in the beach amazing.
Service kind but a bit slow.
Was low season and not many people.
Easy parking also if you jave your own car.
We had a great experience here - we did a split stay as visiting another island in between, the team recognised us when we returned and had prepared our room for an early arrival which we really appreciated. The concierge (Debbie) was brilliant, really friendly and engaging every time we met with her and able to make good restaurant suggestions, helped with early airport taxis and sorting a rum tasting.
We didn’t stay long enough to do any activities but seemed like lots of options available, the beach restaurant is cool with a nice team and good food but I didn’t like that you had to pay extra (1000SCR) if you wanted to use a lounger.
Fantastic hotel. The design of the hotel is well thought out. Loads of plants and shrubs. The staff make you feel at home and were so welcoming. Beautiful beach opposite the hotel. Don’t be put off by some of the reviews saying it is a busy road, it’s not!! We stayed in a Mountain View room that was so spacious. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making our holiday and stay so memorable.
Staff very friendly helpful, gave good tips on places of interest to visit. Recommend Spa massage it was an amazing experience. Staff in the Laroul restaurant, pool bar, Kafe Creole were very welcoming, attentive. The art works/drawings on the walls are brilliant !
Special thanks to Manager Veronica for ensuring my stay went smoothly.
I would recommend Laila.

Pros
Beautiful hotel
Great staff
Large rooms
Mini fridge, kettle, hairdryer, steamer
Pool
Changing rooms with shower for use after you’ve checked out
Beach towels provided
Cons
Expensive
Location- no other hotels so not as many tourist (might be a pro for you) so not so many amenities e.g gift shops, tour guides etc- glad we had a car
No condition which for a £300 a night hotel is wild
Better locations/beaches- you have to cross a fairly busy road to get to the beach
Told we couldn’t use the day beds at cafe unless ordering food/drinks (sun beds and chairs are fine to use)
4-star hotel, no more. For couple of days. I will highlight two big minuses - very limited breakfasts (scrambled eggs and omelette in a frying pan for money, very spectacular ) and the beach across the road (there is no pedestrian crossing - you need to go through a gas station to cross the road). The staff barely moves and sleeps on the go (you can wait half an hour for coffee in the morning). The restaurant manager pretends to try and smile at everyone, but this is only an appearance. The children's room is very boring, there is no nanny. There are no toiletries in the room (cotton pads, shower cap). A big plus is that the hotel is new, but you can see that they also saved on plumbing. In general, it is suitable for a stay of a couple of days, no more. Of the pluses - good food in the restaurant and in the cafe (although the last time I had an upset stomach after tuna). The hotel is very green, a nice pool, but my son caught a virus there, I hope it's an accident. Also, all 4 days on the beach there were signs about jellyfish. Lots of seaweed, but they clean it.
