"The resort was absolutely amazing! The concierge team were extremely professional, excellent customer service and accomodating! The room had everything we needed (dishes, etc), spacious and clean. I loved that we had full access to the Hilton Grand as well. My only negative feedback is the shower head could have been cleaned/replaced as the water sprayed unevenly. Also, be aware that there is $35.00 daily parking fee that was not made clear at all when we booked the reservation. We stayed for two weeks so that’s a lot of $$ to pay for parking. Other than those two things we loved everything!!!"

"Overall the place was excellent. Access to a pool and garage. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards. Excellent. My only issue is all of the extra fees. You think when you first book it’s one price but ends up being much more expensive. The Mauna Kea beach was amazing. We didn’t need to pay for entrance when getting there before 8am."

"Our second time coming because it’s just gorgeous. The Ocean view room is unbeatable and never gets old. We came a couple years ago and will admit the menu at most on site places was better back then, but overall, we love this place and will absolutely be back!"

"Kohala Lodge is not just a place to stay, it is a destination. If you visit the Big Island, it is one of the bucket-list experiences you must have. Scenic, tranquil, magical all come to mind. Sit on the expansive front porch and contemplate that you are on an island in the Pacific with a view of Maui in the distance. Feed the animals with pellets provided by the owner. When the breeze gets quite cool, you can build a fire in the stone fireplace with wood provided by the owner. I did not cook, so I cannot comment on that experience. Instead, the charming little town of Havi is easy to access with excellent fare at the Kohala market. For the adventurous, there is sky-diving nearby, or just feed your soul relaxing at the lodge."
