"This place boasts stunning grounds! If you're a bird watcher, you'll love spending time on the porch, soaking in the sights and sounds. A vehicle is definitely handy for exploring the nearby malls and fascinating historical sites. Inside, we enjoyed the comfort of an air conditioning unit, microwave, and a little refrigerator, all surrounded by inviting sliding glass doors that let in plenty of natural light.One tip for light sleepers: consider bringing an eye mask, as the curtains don't fully block out the morning sun. The studio may be small, but we found it to be just right for our needs, and we were genuinely happy during our stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home, even greeting us upon our late arrival and respecting our privacy.Just a quick note: avoid running the hair dryer and air conditioner at the same time—you might trip the fuse! "We had a great family stay in Puako! Nancy was attentive and fast to reply to any messages. The house was clean and perfect for our family of 6. It took a little getting used to the lack of air conditioning but wasn’t bad with all the screen doors and windows and a good excuse to enjoy the Hawaiian breeze. The views of the ocean were amazing and the mature landscaping around the grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed being able to use the beach gear and kayak under the house. Our young daughters loved playing in the tidal pool, sheltered from the waves. Snorkeling right out front was terrific with lots of fish along the reef. Be sure to wear your reef shoes for the spiny urchins. Turtles are along the beach and in the water everyday. We only saw 8-10 people during our entire stay walking by. We hope to be able to return sometime soon! Thank you again!"
