Fab room, Fab food, Fab location and topped off my excellent helpful staff
A nice stay in a very comfortable room. The hotel is beautifully situated & the history of the building is very interesting. Breakfast was tasty & staff were attentive. Will be staying again, in future.
Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking.
We came for a few days at Christmas and it was wonderful. The chef was very accommodating to my daughter’s gluten free requirements. The food was wonderful and the staff were especially kind and attentive.
Beat hotel in the south east. Amazing staff, Jamie, Matt and Dan were all so accommodating. We’ll be having cheeky getaways here regularly! Would recommend highly to anyone.
Attended a family wedding. Staff, service, food and venue as a whole were all excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly, we really enjoyed our chat with the head chef (Ale) who we met outside the vegetable garden, great guy, passionate about the hotel, menu selection etc. Every meal was exceptional. Beds and rooms we very comfortable.
The hotel looks nice and the public areas are well kept (apart from the dead flies on the windowsills next to the tables) the attention to detail needs work.
The rooms however do need some attention from the management. Poorly maintained, very dirty and unkept. Disappointing for a hotel at this price point.
The staff are all very nice and are the hotels biggest positive.
This is a beautiful place to stay and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, I would recommend this to anybody and will be taking my family there again soon.
Lovely country house hotel in a great location - close to the Channel Tunnel & ports. Very pretty gardens. Excellent food at reasonable prices. A very nice overnight stay!
