"Very spacious condo with spectacular views of beach, valley, and mountains from the 13th floor! Swam with sea turtles at nearby beach! Saw sea turtles from our balcony, but swimming was a bit challenging there. Loved eating at the nice nearby restaurant called The Beach House. Expensive but worth it. Drove to Falls and Windward side, but was glad to come home to cozy and quiet condo. Loved going to the pool and jacuzzi. Thanks for having beach chairs and an umbrella. I left a new 2 racket and ball set we never used for the next family. I miss the condo and would love to recommend it to anyone who wants a week in Paradise!"
16P - Permitted penthouse end unit at the Hawaiian Princess - best view on Oahu
10/10 Excellent
"Property was a gated condo. Security onsite 24/7. FOB required to access elevator. Code required to access steel security door for our unit. We felt very comfortable leaving the doors open while we slept to enjoy the waves and breeze. Unit was clean and everything worked as expected. Kathy provided in depth instructions to find unit, access keys and nearby stores and points of interest. Beach was clean and hardly anyone there. Warm water, turtles and seals. View was incredible. "

"This was a great comfortable place to stay. With the beach right there on two sides, nice bed and couches, fully equipped kitchen, what’s not to love. My daughter said on our last day, “I could stay here a month.” If we return to Hawaii next summer, and the plan is to do so, we hope to get the same place again."
"Great stay and break from the main land. Location is great if you want secluded beaches and away from the large population. Nice beach with great sunsets. "
"We typically stay on the Waikiki side of the island when we visit Oahu, but we decided to stay away from the crowds and stay in the Makaha area. We were literally on the beachfront and had the best view. The unit was clean and we had all the things we needed for a great stay. The pull out bed was very comfortable and you could hear the ocean every night. We were a bit far from all the activities, but it was worth it. Our host was very accommodating and we would definitely stay here again."
"This place was incredible! The photos are spot on with the beauty and closeness of the beach! This place had everything we needed: cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron, all the kitchen items needed to cook (we didn’t cook there though)! I do feel like the inside pictures don’t go the place justice though. The furniture is much nicer than it appears in the photos—high quality wicker items. I’ve already shared this place with many family members and friends! I’m so happy we chose not to stay in one of the busy tourist areas. The drive into the tourist areas (Pearl Harbor, Downtown Waikiki) was kind of a bummer, but the mountain scenery was beautiful.
If you’re a hiker, my husband hiked/climbed the mountain right by the condo. We also went to a trail that was called Kaʻena Point Trail. It was mostly flat, so non-experts like me were able to utilize it. There is hardly any shade, so be aware of that beforehand.
There is a gem of a restaurant only about six minutes away from the condo. It is on an Army base, but civilians are able to go to it. Some people online said you needed an ID to get in, but they did not check our IDs when we went. It’s called The Beach House by 604. Coquito’s nearby is also good. We loved their Tres Leches cake.
The surrounding area (not the condo itself or on the street the condo was on) was a little sketchy when we went to Longs Drug Store around 8 PM one night, but no one approached us or anything like that. "
"We had a wonderful time at this property. The condo was very clean and the communication with the owner was prompt and always positive. The condo has everything you would need to have a relaxing time on a semi-private beach that is beautiful. The property is located in a remote location of the island that very much appealed to us. There is a full grocery story located just to the south of the property. If you want the convenience of upscale restaurants and shopping, you should stay in the city. If you want to experience the lifestyle of the locals, this is your place. We enjoyed the food trucks, talking to the residents of the property and the peace and quiet that this condo has to offer. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. "
"The corner unit we had was amazing and it was super clean. The photos perfectly matched what the unit looked like. You open all three doors and you have ocean views and sounds from every room! The homeless near the condos dont come onto your the beach. You dont bother them and they dont bother you. Very happy overall"
