The Chateau de Maintenon is a beautiful property and has great historical significance, but there are no explanations in English. It’s all in French. Worth a visit. Some fun restaurants.

Nice Hotel in a nice town. Very good dinner and breakfast. We asked for hangers and shampoo and didn't receive them

The accommodation was good overall, but the location made transport to the town quite difficult. It felt a bit isolated, with no shops nearby, and we had to walk about 20 minutes uphill to reach the town centre. This made getting around less convenient than expected.

Maison encore en travaux . Il est prématuré de la louer en l'état. En regardant un avis d'il y a un an rien n'a changé je pourrais faire un copier /coller . Les moins : le jardin est un dépotoir d'objets divers avec des déjections canines / il n'y a pas assez de draps ni de serviettes / certaines ...

After visiting Remnants of the Aqueduct, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Maintenon. Wander the gardens and lakeside while you're in the area.
