"Great location - in a nice quiet neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby. 10 min walk to Esplanade La Defense metro (line 1). Staff are all very nice and pleasant. Very good pre-check in communication.
The hotel itself is a basic hotel. Our room was a twin which we had to pay a supplement for over and above a double - first time I've been charged extra for a twin. The beds were comfortable, room was warm and the window opened which was nice!
However the room was very small and tight for space - we had to take turns packing because two people couldn't move around at the same time. Bathroom ok but shower cubicle tiny.
For what you pay it's a convenient place to stay in Paris if you don't intend spending any time in your room - we were out and about all day so it worked for us. We happened to be travelling during Paris fashion week so central accommodation was at a premium.
We had room only so didn't eat breakfast here. There was a kettle with tea/coffee in the room, and daily cleaning service if you want it which is unusual these days.
Hotel Vivaldi is overall good value for what you get. The biggest issue was the size of the room and shower cubicle. This would put me off booking again.
We were in room 301. I'd suggest they remove the large armchair with the terrible brown cover on it as it's a pointless use of space in such a small room."
