"A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. Thanks for a great week Claire."

"Es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus ist einfach aber sehr schön und sauber. Eine tolle Aussicht. Wir waren zur Osterzeit vor Ort. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. Dafür kann der Gastgeber aber nichts. Sicherlich sehr toll zur Sommerzeit. Hier müsste der Gastgeber einen kleinen Grill noch aufstellen. Rundherum viel zu sehen und zu erkunden. Danke"

"A great place to stay. Close enough to the (amazing) beach that if you forget something it's no hassle to pop back and grab it. Really good location for accessing loads of WW2 sites (for when you have a WW2 obsessed teenager!), and some really good cycling routes nearby. Highly recommend, and will re-book if staying in the area again."

"We had a perfect stay. The home is charming, well-appointed and stocked. The owner and his house manager Aurore were lovely and very easy to reach with any questions. But the best part of staying in this home is its location. Asnelles is a charming, quiet town but is easily accessible to Bayeux and Arromanches, directly in the heart of D-Day history. But even better, Asnelles is situated in the center of the northern Normandy coast, making it easy to take day trips all the way west to Mont St....

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
