"The place was clean and felt very cosy. It was clearly newly refurbished and was clean. The beds were not too great though. In one of the bedrooms the wooden boards under the mattress were loose and had to put back in place. That is when it became clear they had better all be replaced. The sheets were made of synthetic fibers instead of cotton. And the place is above a fish shop. The owners have done all they can to repel the smell, but there is no escaping it when you enter. "We stayed for one night - on our way back from the south of France - in a family room. It was good - room well set up for a family and didn’t feel like you were all on top of each other (the two single beds were proper beds, and there was a fifth camp bed type one as well). Decent shower room. Hotel felt safe and secure - free car park with security gate in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay again. The Boullion Marcel restaurant - 30 seconds walk away - is excellent."
