"Excellent weekender. I stopped in on my drive up to Denmark. I had the attic room, wonderful appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and great view of the garden. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly as were the locals. It’s a convenient location too, lots of great sites just a short drive away. I would stay again. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. We were recommended this place from a friend and it was perfect. We cycled every day and found some beautiful spots. We used the facilities for swimming and a drink at the bar. It was extremely quiet which was lovely"

"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. Apparently the hotel had just been renovated and the previous beds had been changed? Both of us have bad backs and sleeping on this sort of divided bed was absolutely horrible. So unfortunately, both of our backs were in a great deal of pain for the duration of our stay. "

"We loved our stay at this Vrbo in Giethoorn. It was great to live a little like those who are always living there. The use of the boat was a must as it gave us a feeling of what it is like to live in this area surrounded by water. I loved the tranquil feeling of going for a boat ride, and walking the paths along the houses. Thank you Bert and Marie!"
