"I went to Paris for a trade show for my company (Wine Paris). 1. Many elements of the room were broken (closet door, light fixture missing a bulb cover etc.); 2. the walls are paper thin and I could hear someone coughing in their room down the hall (not just next to me). I was on the 3rd floor, someone was smoking out of their window on the 2nd floor although it is a non smoking hotel. I waited until that person stopped smoking to see if the smell would dissipate. "Location is close to metro underground station. But the hotel's deficiencies : 1. The Aisles upstairs leading to my unit was dark most of the time due to badly working motion sensored light. 2. No kettle can be borrowed to boil water in my room. 3. Only 1 power socket in my room for charging our mobile phones and other electric tools such as shaver. 4. Only 1 small mirror in the bathroom. No other in the room. I booked it thinking it was a 3-star hotel, but i would rate it only as a 1 starred...
