"Just occasionally we come across a property that exceeds all our expectations. Internally every facility was provided, well furnished throughout in a very stylish manner. Both the kitchen and bathroom were modern and well maintained, making our stay extremely comfortable. The big big plus are the views from the lounge and garden both provided a breathtaking outlook along the coast toward Burgh Island and giving beautiful land and seascapes plus the most fantastic sunsets. "We had the most wonderful stay at Combe Down. It’s a truly magical place to visit with family or friends. The photos do no justice to the incredible sea views you have from the garden, and most of the bedrooms. The interior decor is gorgeous and perfectly kept. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with a lovely welcome hamper. The location is 7-8 min drive down into Salcombe and to nearby beaches, but it’s lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of town and have more space to enjoy. The...

"The property was lovely - clean and spacious. Very nicely maintained with some fun wall decor throughout the house. Access was a little challenging up a spiral staircase although this was clearly stated at booking. Due to this, not advisable for elderly/frail people."

"Property was comfortable and clean. Stairs are rather steep so not for someone with problems walking.Location of house beautiful views around the bay. As high up with wonderful views it keeps you fit to walk back from the harbour and shops only 10-15 minutes BBQ and fire pit available, "

"The house was very clean, milk in the fridge, tea bags and cookies. Perfect for arrival! It was exactly as in the photos. We loved watching the sunset from the balcony. The location was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends. "
