10/10 Excellent
"We really appreciated this hotel for a 3-night stay to visit Port Hardy, Sointula, Alert Bay, etc. It had everything we needed and more. Our room was spacious, clean and functional. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was modern and efficient with a near full size fridge, wow! The bathroom was a nice size with large countertop to place items. Hot water and water pressure were excellent. We were even allowed to use the laundromat machines during the time period allowed, wow! Bernie the manager was friendly and helpful. It is an old hotel that could use new carpetting and blackout curtains, but with all the provided amenities, we would not hesitate to come back."

"After a motorcycle ride up the highway to Port Hardy from Courtenay, we were greeted by a lovely front desk agent. She was friendly and had a great sense of humor. She gave us recommendations for a great Margarita nearby, gave us our key to a 3rd floor room. Much to our surprise all of the rooms are oceanfront and ours had a little outdoor deck to enjoy the views and sounds of ocean birds and seals playing in the water. We watched boats and seaplanes come in and out of the marina area. The hotel has a restaurant attached and two others to walk to in less than 5 minutes. Main streets in town are a short distance away and walking paths are adjacent. Super friendly town with lots to offer! We would definitely stay again."

Beautiful new 3 bedroom house with stunning ocean views! A short walk to marina.

10/10 Excellent
"This spectacular home was perfect for our stay at Telegraph Cove. The views were absolutely beautiful! Wildlife could be seen right from the lovely patio - killer whales, humpback whales, an eagle, an otter, a mink. The house was clean, spacious and as described. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were roomy and well supplied. The kitchen was perfect for preparing and cleaning up meals. The dining area was more than adequate for our group of 6 adults. Several members of our party especially enjoyed the hot tub after long days of bear and whale watching. It was only a short walk to the Cove for those who wanted to go for a stroll. Communication to/from the host was excellent. We feel extremely blessed that the owner was willing to share this little slice of heaven with us!"
