"Fun hotel with great staff and team. There is no hot tub- It’s been closed “since Covid”… but still listed in the booking. Also Extra charge not mentioned in the booking for beach loungers and umbrellas. Pools were great. Food was very good. The Booking page offers this hotel “on the beach” but there is a two lane road for tour busses and other traffic between the hotel and the beach, so we think it is across the road from the beach. Also the beach is rocky not sandy. We had A Great stay and will return!!"

"This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. They have for sure the nicest staff ever. So accommodating. Great food the breakfast buffet is so so good. Definitely will come back and recommend highly. "

"We stayed in this villa for a week and it was just perfect. The layout with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs seemed odd but in fact was ideal as it meant you could come indoors from the pool or a day at the beach, go straight to the bathroom and bedroom to shower etc without trailing upstairs. The balcony off the living room had wonderful views. There is a highway that passes but it's not too close and we didn't really notice the traffic noise. The outside area was clean and tidy with very new looking loungers and sun umbrellas. In addition it felt very safe with the lockable gate at the entrance. In all a perfect villa and host that exceeded our expectations. I'd say a car was probably necessary as it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main road which is partly unlit. "

"The villa was everything we hoped it would be and became a home from home. We enjoyed all aspects especially the pool, the bbq, and the balcony area. Treasured memories of our time there. Having a car was a must for us with elderly family members and allowed us to explore local and other locations. We would have preferred a closer taverna or two but didn't spoil our experience. "We came to Crete, Greece for a wedding of close friends. We chose this hotel to be away from the wedding chaos and hustle and stay somewhere quiet and a bit out of the way. This location exceeded our expectations and then some! The food, the staff, the chill atmosphere was exactly what we needed. "We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home.
