"Unfortunately we were held up along the way and arrived in the dark. And by dark, I really mean dárk, as it was loadshedding on top of it. We just went straight to bed. The next morning we could really see our accommodation and appreciate the room. The only negative comment that I do have is that the lady that was on duty in the morning was not very professional and could not communicate properly. "We stayed here for only one night on Monday, 13 October 2025, on our way to Cape Town. It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay longer because this is a truly wonderful guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a beautiful river view. Mina at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took such good care of us and accommodated our request to change to a river-view room without any trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse has a gorgeous garden. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Check-in and check-out were both very efficient. We highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much! Ian and James"
