Hotel vicino al corso principale di Amoudara (chiamata dai ragazzi del posto Amoudramma), vanta di una bella piscina all’aperto ma la struttura in se è vecchiotta e in alcuni punti malandata. La figlia del proprietario è l’unica a saper parlare inglese e non è molto presente in hotel, la stanza piccola e maleodorante (di chiuso soprattutto). Siamo stati lì una settimana ma solo per dormire, trascorrevamo le giornate sulla spomaggia o visitando le zone limitrofe.

Les personnes travaillant là-bas sont très accueillantes et chaleureuses. Rien à redire. Juste attention au petit-déjeuner, il n’est pas notifié que c’est inclu ou pas et ça vaut 5€ par petit-déjeuner.

Hôtel d'appoint pour 1 nuit

Le personnel est très gentil (parle pas bien l'anglais) et serviable. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot mais il fait le job pour 1-2 nuits en appoint. On peut y arriver après une arrivée tardive de l'aéroport (compter 23€ de taxi).

If you just need a quick stay before a flight this may work. The staff was nice but rooms are old and dated. If your on a tight budget this may work for you but not for a relaxing time or family hotel.

Hyggelig, familiedrevet hotell

Rolig, vennlig. Jeg bodde der utenom sesong, som et utgangspunkt for å løpe i fjellene på Kreta. Dermed var hotellet rolig og fint. Servicen var utmerket og jeg fikk all den hjelpen jeg trengte i resepsjonen.

Hotel tres peu cher , pour une nuit suffisant , accueil sympathique. Mais le coté vieillot de la chambre et de la salle debain explique le prix. La piscine n avait pas d eau......et le petit dejeuner du matin a 5 euros en supplement est certainement le moins bon que nous aillons eu en crete sur une semaine d itinerant.Par contre proximité de l aerroport pour repartir.Et pas loin a pied du centre d ammoudara.

Были одну ночь. Отель старенький. Глобально ничего страшного не было, но отсутствие горячей воды при прибытии очень расстроило (утром появилось), все старое, расхлябанное, провода торчат, шампуня не было, только мыло, из плюсов был матрас - мягкий, пружин не почувствовали, если они в нем и были. Вай-фай в комнате ловит плохо, у ресепшена - отлично. Завтраки скудные, только сушняк - джемы, масло, хлопья, один вид колбасы и сыра. Воду в литровом чайнике, сдобренную одним чайным пакетиком, язык не поворачивается назвать чаем. Сотрудники отеля отзывчивые, пришли на помощь при проблемах с машиной, даже созванивались с ренткаром (и самим давали звонить совершенно бесплатно).

I stayed here with my wife and daughter as our flight was arriving in Crete at stupid o'clock in the morning and our main hotel for our stay would not have room ready until after 14:00.. This was all due the airline changing the flight times.. I opted for the Handakas due to its good reviews and its location being over the room from our primary hotel... The staff are lovely and seem like they cannot do enough to help you.. That was a great welcome to Crete and one we remembered thoughout our stay and to this day.. The room we had was a little knackered but we made the best of it seeing as it was only going to be for about 8 hours so we could get out heads down for a little while then get some breakfast and them decamp to our hotel across the road...

bien pour une escale

Le personnel est vraiment très gentil mais une seule personne parle anglais ce qui peut rendre la communication difficile par moment. Je ne suis restée qu'une seule nuit ce qui est court pour une réelle évaluation. L'environnement, la plage, ne sont pas particulièrement attractifs.

We have been so well served with a free extension of stay by Sophie that we cannot give a bad review. The room was average size with AC & balcony. They were a moisty smell in the room. We found the solution by cleaning the filthy AC filters. The people who clean the linens are surely smokers because the sheet had a strong cigarette smell (should be a easy solution). Beside that all was OK and close to your need. Just 5 min. Walks you can pick the bus #1 (next to Castro Hotel) to the airport (1.70€ from the machine)
