Clean spacious room in Susak upper town (up the steps to the church)

Very clean and spacious room. We were not sent directions for finding the accommodation by Best of Croatia - and then just a simple screen shot map when we asked. This was completely insufficient considering that we arrived in the dark, and it was not at all apparent that we had to look for steps to climb. This felt quite stressful and wasn&#39t a good start to our time in Susak .

Lovely room but no directions given to find it

I was not sent directions for finding our room - and when asked, was only sent an inadequate screen grab of Google maps. This was insufficient due to us arriving in the dark, with no indication that we had to find steps to ascend to the upper village. Best of Croatia need to ensure clearer directions are given and/signage within Susak itself

Odlična lokacija u centru gornjeg sela. U prizemlju objekta domaćini drže i konobu pa možete odmah ujutro popiti kavu i doručkovati. Domaćini su uvijek tu, jako ljubazni i na raspolaganju za sve upite. Ispred sobe se nalazi mali frizider, a u sobi je i kuhalo za vodu. -

Při hledání místa ubytování by pomohla informace, že se nachází v objektu konoby Barbara.

Součástí objektu je i konoba Barbara, která nabízí velmi dobrá místní jídla i vynikající vína z místních prastarých vinic a velmi pozorný a ochotný personál. Pokud by se podařilo odstranit zvýšenou hlučnost čerpadla na vodu, které se zapínalo vždy při použití koupelny i v jiných pokojích, tak by toto ubytování nemělo žádnou chybu. Vybavení pokoje dvěma televizory mi přišlo jako zbytečný luxus, obzvlášť, když ani jeden nefungoval...

Čistý a voňavý pokoj se standardním vybavením, tichá lokalita, výborné nástupní místo na poznávací procházky po ostrově. Velkou výhodou je umístění oblíbené konoby Barbara v přízemí objektu.

Buona sistemazione a Susak a un prezzo adeguato.

La camera è pulita e accogliente, il bagno adeguato, tutti i servizi indicati nel sito sono presenti. La struttura è nella parte alta del paese, raggiungibile tramite lunghe scalinate. Il rumore. Una pompa, penso per lo scarico dell’acqua, si accende giorno e notte e disturba, ma in generale ogni rumore dai vicoli che circondano la struttura rimbomba nella camera (avventori della vicina Konoba, passanti, vicini chiassosi).

Zwei Wochen durfte ich bei Barbara und ihrem Sohn Zvonimir verbringen

Zwei Wochen durfte ich bei Barbara und ihrem Sohn Zvonimir verbringen. Die Konoba Barbara und die dazugehörige Unterkunft Barbara liegen im Oberdorf und sind über drei Treppen ( +/- 150 Stufen) oder über den etwas längeren asphaltierten Weg vom Unterdorf aus zu erreichen. Wer etwas mehr Gepäck mit sich führt, sollte vorab einen Traktor bei Barbara bestellen. Mario oder einer der Kollegen nehmen einen dann am Fähranleger in Empfang. Kosten für den Traktortransport belaufen sich auf 20 Euro (man bedenke die Saison ist kurz und die Traktorfahrer finanzieren so ihren Lebensunterhalt) Die Konoba Barbara ist ein beliebter Treffpunkt aus gutem Grund. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Barbara und Zvonimir sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Da in der Konoba Barbara Bewohner der Insel Susak, Segler, Naturfreunde und Besucher jeglicher Couleur zusammentreffen, ist ein Plausch am Abend bei z.B. einem Glas Wein eine Wonne. Viele Anekdoten und Ereignisse werden ausgetauscht. Die Unterkunft Barbara, 3 Zimmer, Studio-Apartment und Apartment sind extrem sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Sollte dennoch etwas fehlen, dann sind Zvonimir oder Barbara sofort zur Stelle. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
