"The Cretan Malia Park has lovely grounds and communal areas and we found all of the staff we encountered genuinely friendly and helpful. We were not prepared for the large number of families with children under 5 the point where it must be marketed specifically to these groups in some countries. People looking for a quiet relaxing break should avoid this hotel for this reason as there is no respite from toddlers anywhere in the resort which is akin to a huge creche. Positive, Robert arranged an upgrade (extra cost). Appreciated upgrade but disappointed with the original room allocation. The staff were awesome (Stella, Joanna, Nassos and Djemalie Facilities as expected, communal toilets clean, bar was on occasion busy and pool loungers...

The daily breakfasts, which differ, are a lovely idea proving you with a local perspective in contrast to the more normal buffet. We absolutely loved having our own hottub on the balcony, as well as the lovely property swimming pool which was always peaceful. A delight of a place.
