"Large comfortable room. Air conditioning Unit in room not working, but stand fan provided. Family in another room not so lucky, room so hot that sleep was difficult. Ask about A/C when checking in! Great water pressure in the shower."

"A well-located hotel in Chester (approx. a 10-minute walk to the centre of the High Street) with great amenities: restaurant, bar, spa, gym and pool. Our room was clean, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The room just felt a little outdated and in need of some modernising, in particular the bathroom. However, this didn't impact our one-night stay. Breakfast was small in selection, but tasty. The spa was a nice-to-have, and we enjoyed using the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi."

"Friendly staff, a clean spacious room with a comfortable bed. A view of the canal. Lots of choice at breakfast. A lovely gesture that the children eating breakfast were given bags of food to feed the local ducks! What more can you ask for?"
