The food was great with lots of choice and good quality. The cocktails at the pool bar and drinks were delicious made by Oscar and Seru. "Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. "Bula Spirt was nowhere to be seen. Owner clearly is sucking the place dry and not a cent spent on up keep. Food was really basic, trouble with over croweded boats and staff are very unhappy. Do yourself a favour and avoid. Very unpleasant stay, such a shame"

"Our room was near the pools and lagoon which meant easy access. There were lots of free activities offered, some of which were in the large outdoor pool if you wanted to join in. The staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed to be happy to be working at the Marriott no matter what they were doing...and had beautiful singing voices which we often heard if a celebration was held or a person was leaving. "We had a constant stream of problems during our stay with the Double Tree. The room was not as nice as we expected the curtains had holes from moths and some of the lights were burned out in the main room so it felt like a dark cave. We found a dead cockroach in the main room on the first night that was not cleaned up for 2 days. A second roach showed up in the bathroom the very next day too. The shower was fantastic and lived up to the pictures. Shower towels were the most frequent issue....

"The Fiji Hilton is at a great location! It’s very close to Port Denarau and convenient for boat transfers. The rooms are right on the beach and right next the water. We chose a room with a kitchen and laundry, which was incredibly helpful! It’s not a great site to snorkel off the beach, but it’s a nice walking beach for finding shells! The pools were a great bonus for our 6yr old. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction happening in the resort. It was kind of hard to relax at the pool...
