Cozy comfort and spectacular mountain views await at Mountainback 15, a delightful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that sleeps 6. Ideally located a short walk from Canyon Lodge and a short drive from Mammoth Lakes Basin, guests can easily enjoy this area’s endless opportunities for hiking, biking, sightseeing, and other outdoor experiences. In the Summer, hop in the car to spend the day exploring Yosemite National Park. Winter brings an epically long snow season for skiing on Mammoth Mountain. After days on the trails or carving down the mountain, guests of this pet-friendly property will love relaxing by the wood-burning stove fireplace, on the deck, or enjoying the community amenities—a heated pool and hot tub.

A gorgeous rock fireplace and tongue-in-groove wood walls bring a warm rustic aesthetic to the inside of this charming condo. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are all connected, making it easy for the group to mingle. Kick back and unwind on the 2 soft couches facing the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for preparing home-cooked meals with GE appliances, plenty of storage, and lots of counter space. Venture onto the covered balcony, where 2 woven chairs encourage guests to sit and take in the awe-inspiring nature view of evergreens and distant mountain peaks.

There’s on-site parking for 1 vehicle. For the nearest ski access, visit Canyon Lodge—a 12-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. Additionally, guests can drive to Main Lodge (9 minutes) or Eagle Lodge (4 minutes) or take the gondola from The Village (4 minutes) to Canyon Lodge. Book today!

Just as expected

This condo is comfortable, looks exactly as photos show, is well stocked and easy to access everything around town we wanted! We had such a sweet experience here, neighbors were wonderful and it was super easy overall!

The perfect mountain space!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The location is wonderful, and every detail in the space made it feel like a home away from home. Even our dogs felt comfy and happy here. Will definitely try and book this spot again for a summer trip!

Great place for skiing / boarding

Nice condo. Two bedroom. Kids room has a bunk bed and a queen bed. Close to the shuttle to Canyon. Just walk out front and get on the shuttle. Good parking.

Many issues with the property

There were several issues with property- Living room screen door was off the tracks and Leaning against the slider, the first bedroom with the twin bed- the crank for opening and closing kept falling off, the front bedroom, the screen in the window closest tot the slider fell off right away - we could see Simone tried to tape it - both windows - the cranks fell off. The first bathroom - there was an issue with the plumbing - floors aging was a problem. Also, the night lights next to the bed in the main room are really glaring and should be dimmable- you turn them on and you want to immediately turn th Off they are so so bright Pleas eco aider this property is right by lake Mary road so while there is a deck, the traffic is loud and flowing until at least midnight so no time to have a nice quiet view. We loved the pictures but please read these comments . I booked based on the pics as I am a mammoth person and it is important to have a view and this looked like the place to go.

Great place!

Great location equidistant between Canyon Lodge and the village. A one minute drive to either or about a half a mile walk. Complex is clean and quiet. The unit is spacious well, well stocked and very cozey. Clean and would stay again!

Amazing place, close to the village and Canyon Lodge!! Fantastic views! The onsite GM Caesar was amazing to guide us through the storm to get our garage pass! Also at the end we forgot some valuables and they brought it to us while we were having lunch! Great hosts and will book again!! Jeff, Annie, and Tori

Healing after a family member loss

I needed a place to heal after a sudden loss of a loved one, my heart was broken and i needed a special place to heal. I wanted a stress free home, one that i could find peace. This home did that for me, it was well stocked, clean and updated. You could tell the owners picked the furniture and kitchen materials with care. I thank you for sharing your home, it help me find inner peace. I really needed a place to heal, a get away, a safe get away that held love in it surroundings. My husband was with me and everynight he built a fire for me, pour me wine coolers and served me with love. I am greatly aware i need much more time to heal but it has started in a place where we used to come as a family and shared many memories here at mammoth. Please tell the owners i thank you for a wonderful stay.

We were there over Christmas and loved the property--spacious and good location and garage parking (elevator would have been nice but we were on 2nd floor so not too bad). Only negative comment would be check in time is 5 but office closes at 5.

Great stay

Overall the condo was great including cozy blankets, fully stocked kitchen, puzzles and books. With that said there are a few issues: 1. Laundry doors need some attention 2. Slider off the living room kept jumping off the rails 3. Guest bath shower doors need some adjustment

Nicely Appointed

The condo was very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed. My only complaint is that it faces St Mary’s Drive and the traffic is audible throughout the condo. My second complaint is not specific to this condo in particular but in order to access the bike trail - you have to navigate on the street avoiding cars. Thus, an easy walk anywhere is not a feature this condo provides, especially if you have small children or grandparents in tow.

Mammoth Family getaway

I must say this was one of our top3 vacation places to stay. From the beginning we knew that this was the place for my family . It sure didn't disappoint. The location was perfect. The size of the condo was perfect. My grandchildren who are 18 months and 3 years old had enough room to play. It felt a home away from home. All the extra amenities were a added plus for us. we loved the views from both the master bedroom and living room. The baby loved looking out the window every day. Having a fire going every night was a plus too. We all decided to make this our yearly visit in this condo. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. See you next year!!!!

Best Mammoth Condo Ever

Absolutely loved loved lovey our stay in Unit 15. Furniture and decor was the best I have ever had in Mammoth. Ever detail was perfect. Comfy sofas & beds were great. Loved all the special details the owners added from beautiful ceramic pieces, soft lap throws, lovely kitchen appliances, plenty of really nice dishes, glasses, & silverware. Unit was spotless. We had a question when we checked & immediately someone came to help us. We will definitely stay here again. Such a beautiful location also
