"We very much enjoyed our four day. Stay at this unique property. What a great view of the sea in the town. The front desk staff was amazing. Particularly,Loris! She was extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. She’s a great asset to the ownership of this lodging. We do not hesitate to recommend 5 Pelagos 2 to anyone. Great restaurants, nearby, fabulous food."

"We loved this house on many fronts- incredible place to call home fur a few days! …plenty of space, kitchen with rooftop patio/seating, gorgeous expansive views from every room, and privacy and proximity to the train and town. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to feel at home. Exactly as described with easy check-in. (doorways and ceilings are low and stairs are steep so be mindful of that if you have any mobility concerns). "

"We loved our stay in Lorella's apartment. She gave us a very thorough introduction to her place and there is a "manual" with a map and recommended restaurants. We tried two of them and both were wonderful. She also booked luggage transport to and from the station for us. I would highly recommend this service. Yes, there are many stairs but it is so worth it for the views. We are in our 60s and made the walk multiple times a day. So certainly manageable for those in reasonably good shape. Cozy apartment, highly recommended!"

"Great location! Bedroom is up second floor via ladder type steps. Needs railing. Bathroom is on bottom floor. Needs rough tape on shower floor to avoid slipping. Nice terrace on both floors. Tight steps up to rental. But easier with carry on luggage. Take train to other 4 cities and take ferry back to Rio. Beautiful! Would rent this place again."

"The only reason we are giving this property 5 stars is because of the view and everything it came with. It is truly an amazing property that unfortunately was soiled by how FAR it truly was from the entrance. We came with 4 luggages and 2 bags and their transportation service, while stated it was going to be available, the driver had finished early that day and we had to drag our luggage what seemed miles up the hill and steps (which were plenty). Once we found the property, which was also under construction and did not look like a serviceable entrance, there were 3 flights of stairs to still climb with all our luggage. Even after that, the staff had an emergency with their cleaning staff and medical services had to be called to help her but blocked our ONLY entrance into our room so another 10-15 mins waiting. Thought the bad luck would end there but it didn't, the room had even been fully cleaned. Aside from ALL that, my fiance and I made the most of our stay there and really enjoyed everything the property had to offer. If you book here, be prepared to climb and pack light. "

"This was a great stay, the room was very clean and nice, and the bathroom was great. One thing to note is that the climb up to this property is steep, but so is the whole town. The location ended up being an advantage as it is away from the city center where there can be a lot of people, and it was lovely falling asleep to the nearby river."

"It would be nice to have more coffee each day. Property was in a nice peaceful part of town above the busy tourist area. Owners would be well served to do something about an extremely slick shower base. Very nice stay with really sweet and helpful staff."
