Idyllic park-like holiday village

The Holiday Village grounds are excellently kept and safe to explore for kids. There are several pools, a small aquapark and excellent beach faciltiies. The rooms are a bit old, but well kept for their age. The restaurant has well-separated smoking and non-smoking areas. Unfortunately, this is not true of the sunbeds by the pools and beach, which would have improved our stay a lot.

We stayed a week at Melas Village and also used the Gym, Sauna/Steam and Spa facilities at Melas Resorts next door. Beautiful grounds of property. Double bedroom rooms are ample size and shower is very good. Buffet dining is generally very good. There are a la carte options available but we did not use those as we preferred the flexibility of the buffet. Beach clean and water was warm. Lots of loungers available anytime on beach however pool area can get very busy. The beach path is laced and very easy to walk/run east or west from the resort along the beach. Can access Side historic town from this path which is about 3km. We werenin a group of 19 with all ages and had a great time.

One area of criticism; almost all drinks are local, including basic ingredients, which makes for horrible mojitos and daiquiris. Don’t expect the Caribbean experience.

Excellent value for money. Staff were friendly, everywhere is clean and comfortable. Food was really good and the Turkish a la carte restaurant was fantastic. Mexican and Asian themed dinners were a little disappointing but generally the food was good quality. I wish the beach bar did cocktails (only pool bar and lobby bar did). Mostly German guests and staff did speak German initially but they do speak good English. I would say it's not suitable for an English speaking family as all the kids entertainment is in German, but didn't bother us as a couple. The beach was lovely, a few rocks in the sea but that meant there were fish too. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would return.

Wir haben zum ersten Mal einen Urlaub in der Türkei gemacht und waren ablosut positiv überrascht. Zuerst möchten wir einen großen Lob für die Servicequalität aussprechen. Wir sind am 1 April 2023 ganz früh gelandet und waren um ca. 10:00Uhr bereits im Hotel. Uns wurde direkt Frühstück angeboten und nach dem Essen wurden wir zu unseren Zimmern gebracht. Am Abreisetag wurden wir ebenso bis zur letzten Minute mit Essen und Trinken versorgt. Und das die ganzen 7 Stunden nach dem offiziellen Check-out. Das Angebot im Hauptrestaurant war vielfältig, das Essen frisch und zum Teil auch vor unseren Augen vorbereitet bzw. fertiggegart. Die Kinder waren sehr gerne in Mini-Club und auf dem Sandstrand spielen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, grün und sehr sauber. Die Zimmern, wo wir waren sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch hat alles funktioniert und geputz wurde auch fleißig. Es dürfte mehr Ablageflächen in den Badezimmern geben. Die meiste Zeit haben wir am Strand und im Poolbar verbracht, die Longdrinks waren super und die Coktails unterschiedlich, je nach dem, wer die zubereitet hat. Das war wirklich ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie (3 Generationen) und wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

Marvelous stay

Incredible stay. All was perfect. Restaurant, pool, people, cleanliness. A nice place to stay and have some rest with your family. We will probably go back there. Amazing price for the quality of this type of resort.

были в октябре 2021 вчетвером. с 2 детьми плюсы: - хорошая ухоженная территория (на холме. придется вверх-вниз ходить) - идеальное море для детей. пологий заход метров на 100 вперед. можно отпускать детей в море и не волноваться. идеальный мелкий песок. (в некоторых комментариях про плиты пишут — в октябре 2021 плит не было. было немного камней, но не критично. купаться детям они не мешают - заселили в огромный 3-х комнатный номер (2 комнаты и гостиная с маленькой кухней) - очень хорошая сауна в спа-центре. большая и жаркая. предварительной записью не мучали - хорошая игровая зона с настольным футболом, теннисом, дартсом и аэрохоккеем (все бесплатно). с детьми там можно залипнуть минусы: - основная претензия к официантам и барменам. практически каждый раз когда что-то делают — словно одолжение делают, и с кислыми лицами - номер хоть и большой, но пол был холодный и плиткой выложен (теплый пол только в туалете), а кровати мягкие и с пролежнями. пора менять мебель - еще почему-то не было воды в бутылках. только в брикетах, которые не закроешь если открыл в целом хороший отель (в основном из-за моря и пляжа). можно вернуться. но мебель в номерах пора обновлять. еще из специфики — много немцев. из-за этого ценник на водные развлечения в целом в 1,5-2 раза выше чем в соседних отелях. как сказал прокатчик водных мотоциклов: «турция — на базаре. а здесь, на пляже, — европа»

Our Room: our family of 5 received a two-bedroom one-bath mini-kitchen apartment: room1 had one double bed, room2 had 2 twin beds, living room had one double sofa bed. All beds were very clean comfortable and spacious. Rooms cleaned daily by the staff, however my wife noticed bathroom sink and mirror were not cleaned daily. Three Air conditioners one in each room , all inclusive in-room drinks minibar refrigirator, coffee, tea. Rooms have special towels for use at the pool and beach. Restaurant: rich daily breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets all healthy choices varieties of cold cuts, cheezes, pastries, breads, salads, beef chicken, lamb, fish, muscles, desserts, fresh fruits. very delicious in general. Spacious clean elegant tables and seating. However, some fruits like appricots, plums did NOT taste organic. Fruit juice drinks tasted like suger mixed with artificial flavors so we only had water, sodas, coffee, tea. Impressed by the Polite hardworking staff always who provided prompt drink service to the tables. Pools: kept very clean and great looking. Impressive all-inclusive all-day drinks bar services. Daily mini lunch /desert buffet at the pool. Enough tables and seats at the pool, however we could not find any available foldable reclining loungers at the pool due to limited space and availability. Impressive staff same comment I made above. Beach: hotel has direct access to sandy beach. Beach sand is kept clean, some areas inide the water have rocks instead of sand.

2 weeks holiday with children

Отдыхали 2 недели ( 30.06-14.07), 3 взрослых и 4 ребёнка. Расположение отеля отличное, прямо на берегу, рядом с городом Сиде. До старого центра Сиде на такси 5 мин за 6-7€. Пляж большой, песчаный, вход хороший, лежаков много. Главный бассейн не очень большой, но уютный и прямо рядом с пляжем. В пулбаре набор типичных местных напитков, розовое вино было вкусное. Ликёр бейлис ирландский очень приличный. Мороженое с 12 до 17. Обслуживающий персонал практически не говорит по-английски и по-русски. Вилки и ножи в индивидуальных упаковках. На столах нет салфеток и мало дезинфекторов. Приходилось постоянно спрашивать официантов. Анимация ненавязчивая , многие говорят по-русски. Но для детей практически ничего не было. Очень хорошие концерты живой музыки и профессиональные шоу. Шведский стол на троечку, еду накладывают работники, очень неаккуратно. Мы ходили жаловаться на ресепшн, чтобы нам не бросали еду в тарелки. Персонала явно не хватает, за едой очереди. Но еда вкусная, хотя однообразная. На завтрак одно и то же каждый день. Отель чистый и уютный, но не 5 звёзд! Номер хороший, сантехника новая и мини-бар постоянно пополнялся. Пляжные полотенца меняли нерегулярно, приходилось самим просить у уборщиц. В отеле 4 а-ля карте ресторана. Забивайте время в них заранее. Мы об этом узнали только на 10-й дней отдыха. На ресепшн нам ничего не сказали об этом. Узнали сами от других туристов. Напитков долго ждали, официантов мало и столы убирали медленно. В целом, все было хорошо.
