great place to stay near Manchester

Great location just north of Manchester--chairs in front of every room so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very quiet. Room was large and comfortable. There is a pool which we didn't use. Breakfast was typical basic hotel breakfast fare. Very good value motel.

Very pleasantly surprised! From the outside this looks like a typical rural motel, nicely kept, but typical. Once inside though, I felt like I was at a much higher end hotel. Everything was clean. All the amenities were there. The owners have done a great job in making this a really nice place to stay as you explore Manchester and the area.

The room smelled really bad. They should probably get rid of the carpet and go with some kind of hard flooring. The place could use a renovation, too I asked one of the neighboring guests how they liked their room and they said, “it smells like ass”. There were also some other guests blasting music loud enough so the whole valley could hear it. That went on for sometime. I thought the motel management would’ve asked them to turn it down, but I don’t think that happened.

This property was adequate for our needs: a quiet, clean place to sleep during our stay in Manchester for fall colors. Check in was ok and check out was not so professional. I’m all for small business and family owned, but there has to be more professionalism employed at the front desk.

The room was very clean; however, they serviced the room only every other day. The breakfast was ok. There was only one choice of protein on the menu and it was hard boiled eggs.

The room was clean and comfortable and the value was excellent. I would have loved sheers or blinds in addition to the opaque curtains as the room is not well lit with fixtures and the main window looks directly on the parking lot. Also there were a few small upkeep issues—rips in curtain and broken curtain rings; the towel/grab bar in the shower about to pull away from wall.

Good size room, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also a good size but had peeling paint (ceiling) and other cosmetic issues. Whole room had a smell of smoke (Non-smoking room) and there was a roach. Ick. Extremely overpriced given an event in town. I will not use Expedia again.
