A reunion of 5 old friends...It was perfect. We had plenty of room to spread out. The house is very well equipped if you like to cook. The gardens are lovely and added to the pleasure of sitting on the patio both morning and evening as we did. Break Time is a great place to stay.

The house was absolutely spotless and so perfect for staying with family and friends in town for a wedding at the Kimpton Taconic hotel. David was a wonderful host and had anything you could need for a great stay as well as super easy communication. The backyard and deck were stunning and we probably could have stayed outside all day lounging and taking in the beautiful landscaping! 10/10 recommend this stay in Manchester!

Grandparents, adult children and 2 teens had rooms to spread out and rooms to come together. We love a good dining room (not to shortchange the excellent kitchen) and this house delivers. We stowed skis in the garage; but boots and clothing came inside. Very convenient to Manchester shopping, restaurants, Equinox spa, and Bromley. David is a very conscientious owner, so take good care of this lovely home!

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dave, the host, for his exceptional hospitality, kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. Dave went above and beyond to accommodate us and our 3 grandchildren during our recent stay at this wonderful Manchester Breaktime home. This rental house was generously equipped and Dave was always available to answer our questions and assist us. Breaktime home is lovely, cozy and comfortable; it's also centrally and ideally located, minutes to downtown, eateries, skiing, and more. We hope to return to this Breaktime home on our future visits to VT. Thanks again to Dave for being a super host!

We came to Manchester for a weekend away with friends to do some snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. David was very responsive and allowed us to check in early so we could get settled before snowmobiling. Unfortunately, rain and warm weather didn't allow for any snow!! We still had a great time. We went hiking and enjoyed a weekend with great friends. The home was a perfect size, clean, and in a great location. Thank you David for your hospitality and flexibility! We would definitely recommend!

Clean, well arranged and renovated by the owners this home exceeded our expectations and was great deal for our Christmas visit. Superbly insulated and well heated, only 25 min from Stratton and 15 min from Bromley. Would recommend and repeat if available, would also make great accommodation for summer of fall travel.

This wonderful house glows with the pride of ownership of David, its owner. In every respect. It is meticulously maintained, inside and out, and supplied better than any other rental I have ever been in- in fact, it is better supplied than my own house. It shines inside with first rate pots and pans, fine Villerey & Bosch China, Beekman soaps and conditioner bottles in each bathroom like a fine hotel, massive empty closet spaces with dozens of hangers for guests, a first aid kit, Covid tests, 5 TVs (one in each bedroom, one in the family room and one in the living room), and original artwork in most rooms. And outside- wow- an outdoor fire pit with a massive wood supply and outdoor chairs, two outdoor grills (one gas, one charcoal), a lovely patio with dining table and umbrellas, surrounded by flowers, and a garden which is still in bloom in late October thanks to David's constant efforts. And David is always available by cellphone if any questions should arise. He told me that the house is his "hobby" and that says it all. The house is located in the heart of Manchester, an easy walk everywhere, and next to the gorgeous Burr & Burton school. This place is a treat.

Thank you David for allowing us to rent your home. We were looking to get away for a last minute long summer weekend before school starts. David's home is exactly as described and conveniently located to all Manchester restaurants, shops, and attractions. Our favorite part was relaxing out on the back deck with a glass of wine, eating lunch under the sun and listening to nature at night. The kids were able to run around in both the front and backyard. Fabulous, relaxing weekend. Thank you again

This was by far our best VRBO rental ever. The home was clean, well decorated and had all the amenities one would want. The kitchen had every utensil and cookware imaginable. Felt like we had not left home. The owner checked in with us several times and made us feel very welcome. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, this was a 12. Great place for anyone who is over 60 years old and loves traditional, classic decor.

Our first impression as we drove into the driveway was of an attractive and welcoming house. It is set next to a lovely brook and at the bottom of Mt Equinox. Behind is a school complex that has a marvelous hill for sledding. Upon entry, we were thrilled to find everything needed for a relaxing week of hibernation with occasional fresh air treks. The furnishings and accessories in many respects are museum quality or at least close to it. We especially enjoyed the room adjoining the kitchen for Happy Hours and occasional TV. The original oil painting of two foxes and two pheasants makes this room very special. The dining room is formal. We used it mostly for Zoom meetings and teleconferencing. The internet is excellent by the way.
Two of us used the upstairs space as our private suite. It was exceptional. And, our other friend had the downstairs bedroom to enjoy and to be luxurious in at her leisure. The living room is inviting and calls out for an elegant cocktail hour almost any time of the day. The graciousness of our surroundings made this week one of serenity and restoration. Our host, David Davenport made himself available by phone so we felt attended to in every way.possible. The deck is lovely and is calling us to return so that we can move out onto lit for the enjoyable pleasures awaiting in warmer weather. This house was sheer delight to stay in for a week. We were thrilled with it in every way.

We stayed in this house over our Christmas break, my husband and I and our 5 kids ages from 4 to 16. House was very clean, had everything you need and was very spacious. Kids had dove to play in the house and outside in the front yard. I loved that the check in time was 1pm which helped us beat the traffic. most places have it after 3pm or even 4pm. House was very warm and cozy. And David was always available for any questions I had. Highly recommend this property for family who wants a quiet place to stay. Thank you David.

As a travel professional, I'm picky. But David's home was impressive. He anticipated every detail. I felt I was in a Waldorf Suite. Great location, close to restaurants and local cafes. Yet still very private. His English style home was warm and inviting. Congrats!!!

We were very pleased with the accommodations. All needs were considered for our visit. It felt like we were at home surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Vermont. We would highly recommend this location as it is close to town and all the amenities it offers. The owner was outstanding and very attentive to our needs.

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding we were attending at the Hildene. The house was in a great location and was super clean, but the best part about it was the beautiful back yard complete with a large deck and fire pit. Thank you for a great spot for a group of old friends to relax and catch up.

We were very happy with the home. Worked out great for 2 couples. Only complaint would be the view out back of Burton Academy
