"Room was ready after the 4pm check in time. Some guests were offered complimentary drinks at bar for this inconvenience. This was not the case for us. No information about wifi, breakfast or facilities given upon check-in. Hotel's beach club was closed once we had checked in and for the entirety of our stay 5 days prior to the start of Cannes Film Festival. Which was disappointing. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, the rooms were extremely noisy. You could hear upstairs and side rooms. Not sure what was going on above us, but we heard movement all the time as if it was a work area or something. Or it may have been next door. Unknown. Also, our mini fridge area had a terrible odor - as if something had died in there. I brought it up to gentleman at the front desk, but not much seemed to have been done. I'm unsure if they checked it or not. He didn't understand English...

"We've stayed at this property several times over the years. We like the location, and easy walk from the train station. The staff always friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were lovely. This particular room was showing some wear and tear however. The area around the shower is carpeted and if it gets damp is a bit smelly.
