"Overlooking (arguably) one of the most beautiful valleys in the French Pyrenees, this was a great place for our holiday with three generations of extended family. The late summer weather was exceedingly good, the wildlife numerous and for the most part obliging, and there was a magnificent swimming lake forty minutes away. "We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"We absolutely loved the chateau- it was large with a lovely garden, pool and lots of nice bedrooms. The chateau was very private and close to a lovely little village and waterfall. The hosts were very quick and easy to contact. Would recommend to any large family or friend group"

"The Chateau was very beautiful and was even more than we could wish for. The hostess Anki was very warm, helpfull and welcoming. She helped with all of our questions and we could always give her a call. The view from the pool was stunning and despite our age differences (1,5 - 80 years), all of us had an equally amazing stay. We definately would recommed Chateau Labusquiere to everyone who wants to see the south of France!"

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."
