The Rose Cottage

The Rose Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom holiday house with a fully insulated 2 bedroom sleepout. It has spacious living, across from a reserve in a quiet culdesac. The lounge opens through french doors into the front deck, with the deck, lounge and bedrooms offering expansive views over the reserve, golf course, and lake.

Great fireplace in the house to keep you toasty warm in the winter with firewood provided. There is a heat pump in the house also, if you don't want to light the fire.
Newly carpeted throughout.

The large, flat section provides plenty of room for boat parking and tents. Fully fenced and safe for kids.
Fully setup house with BBQ, picnic table, washing machine, electric frypan etc. Freeview TV, DVD, stereo (CD player + 3.5mm input for MP3 players) - please note that there is no WiFi at this house (but the cellular reception is good).
Has an open front deck with a covered back deck.
There is a reserve out the front gate, with loads of space to play.
Pillows, duvets and blankets provided, please bring your own linen and towels (these can be provided at an extra cost if required). Please note that one of the single beds inside is a long single. Guests are expected to clean up before they leave, optional cleaning available $90 per stay.

Small amount of secure garage space available for storing bikes, water toys etc.

Lake Maraetai at your doorstep (fishing, skiing and wakeboarding).
Golf course just below the house.
Motocross track a few kilometres away.
Close to Waikato River Trails (can walk/bike from the house to Whakamaru along the edge of the river without being on the road).
35mins to Taupo, 1 hour to Rotorua, 1 1/2 hours to skifields.
