Very comfortable and scenic apartment

Jeanette was a wonderful hostess. The apartment was extremely well- equipped ( with even a larger refrigerator) and well-laid out, with a wrap-around verandah with lovely views looking into town and out to sea.

Beautiful place with great Customer service

This is a beautiful place to stay with stunning views across the bay if you book a balcony room. Jeanette was excellent and very helpful when our flight was considerably delayed so we didn't arrive until very late. The breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice. A very nice old colonial style building and the room had tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. All in all I'd highly recommend staying here.

Stay at Mangawhai Lodge

It was a very nice stay in the Lodge. Our manager was Jenette was helpful and kind and the room was immaculate. The view from our room was beautiful and morning breakfast was just right to start the day. Apart from the road works that was happening at the time of our stay it was recommended a good stay. Loved that the Lodge was close to a good walk to the beach and to shopping facilities.

If you have the chance to stay at the Mangawhai Lodge, don't hesitate to book. We enjoyed every aspect of our recent two day stay with Jeannette serving as an excellent host. Our room looked out at the ocean and the beach was a short walk away. Restaurants are also close by with an impressive range of choices for a small village. Our only mistake was not booking at least another night.

Cozy and Welcoming B&B

Great little cozy B&B right in the heart of Mangawhai. Close to lots of activities, at the beach and in the town. We were so warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Breakfast was amazing each morning! Our room had a lovely balcony and view of the ocean, too bad the weather was terrible so we couldn't sit outside to enjoy it. Smaller room but lots of shared living space in the building. Would definitely return!
