"The hotel staff was excellent any time we had a question or request. The hotel is located right across the tourist information center and really central to all the shops by the pier. The area does get busy when there are cruise ships in port but we used those days to go explore elsewhere. The daily breakfast has a good selection of food to choose from and if you are departing early will provide you a box to take it with you. "

"Perfect location to explore the main area of Bergen. Staff was extremely friendly and kind. We had a beautiful view of the harbor. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean. "

"Shops, bars and nightclubs nearby- but that means it was very loud in the room on Saturday night until about 2:30am. We used a couple white noise apps on two phones and were able to drown it out and go to sleep though. "

"Bergen is the most beautiful city we have seen in our travels. The shops and restaurants go in many fascinating directions to explore. The food is excellent, especially at Egon's next door to the hotel. Hakon's Hall is majestic and feels like it's taking you back in time 750 years. The rail car to the mountain top has great views and beautiful forest hikes. We saw the Troll museum in Tromso, and the one in Bergen is also very fun to explore. The runes and artifacts in the Bryggens museum are fascinating. All walkable from the hotel! Also, the hotel has breakfast and dinner included which was nice not to 'eat out' every night. Great view of the city from our room too."
