Good hotel with central location

Nice hotel in a very central location with super nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast that was included in the price and the hotel also have a swimingpool. Good value for the money.

The staff were very friendly and always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay because the food was good and unlimited and the pool though a little on the smaller side made up for it with clean and clear water which was nice and refreshing after a hot day in the sun.

The best hotel near Tondo

Excellent buffet breakfast, the kids love the kiddie pool. It is close to Deca Mall where the kids go everyday to the playhouse and come back to a quiet, comfortable, secure hotel. Hotel starr is easy to work with.

The street around the hotel was fairly run down but an advantage was the direct entry to the train station from the mezzanine of the hotel. Nice room, quiet airconditioning.

Huge upgrade from last stay. We got upgrade this time due to a pest to ncidentntte first night. This time no complaints. No bugs or other incident. Room was keept in perfect shape alwayes clean. Nothing but a 5 star experience and i can really recomend the room service foid. Ublide grab you get proper utencils abd plate. The staff is here is the trestemt assets and why we keep comming vack

We liked the location. Close to T1 line and local attractions. The hotel is very run down and needs improvements. Rooms are average no windows. The staff made our stay very enjoyable always there yo help and advise us.

We had a good stay in Grand opera as usual. Only stayed 1 night. But as many times before it was a welcoming experience, there's hot water, clean room and good breakfast.

Average stay

Staff were very attentive and polite. Room was okay, mattress was very firm and we had 2 baby cockroaches too. The shower flooded very easily as the drain seemed to actually be uphill of the floor, meaning not all of the water will ever drain. Very loud neighbours with children running around screaming, although this is not the fault of the hotel.

Fantastic value, nice pool and sauna. Rooms were good. Mattress a bit tough but okay. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Access to the LRT railway station directly from the platform. Hot water shower. Enjoyed my few nights here and would return. Staff professional and courteous.

For the location in Manila, this is a nicer hotel than you expect. Room was on the small side with just a small window not over looking much. But the room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator was a little dingy but no biggie. Bathroom clean with a shower that was ok. Dinning had good food. Breakfast was not bad.
