"It was an older hotel that is renovated. It was very clean. They even came in while we were gone and made the bed and gave us clean towels. We had a view of the water which we didn’t expect. The breakfast was decent and free. Make sure you take your own shampoo and body wash. Overall for the price, ..."

"Whem comparing hotels in the area, and other hotels in upper Michigan, this is an outstanding hotel. Clean, quiet, and friendly. Most northern Michigan hotels are very dated, and in rough around the edges. My wife and I enjoyed the stay, and would not only recommend, but book another stay."
