"Very clean and cute cabin. Quiet and private location. The water was calm but very rocky so bring water shoes! Bring lots of bug spray too…. Mid July the black flies were bad… we could only swim 1 out of the 3 days we were there because they were swarming. No a/c which was totally fine except the day that was 87. The windows being open the rest of the time was perfectly fine - good screens kept small bugs out. We only used the master bedroom - it was spacious and very comfortable. The screen mirroring for the tv did not work but we made due with some great DVD movies that the host supplied. No WiFi available but cellular worked completely fine. If you’re looking for a pet friendly remote U.P. getaway this is a nice choice."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely vintage cabin. Everything we needed was there. Would have appreciated a heads up about swimmer's Itch so we could have enjoyed the lake since that's a large portion of going to the cottage. Was a interesting week with more than a few challenges: but not due to hosts, just out of anyone's control"

"Beautiful and quiet. Very comfortable, had to spend a lot of time indoors due to wildfire smoke but it was perfect temperature inside with fans and not able to open windows. Kitchen is beautiful, view of the water. Maybe kitchen blinds, but not too much traffic, so not a big deal. Loved it!"

"We had a great stay! Place was well stocked and large enough for our 2 families of 4. Loved the Kayaks and hot tub! Host was very responsive to all communication. Plenty of towels and linens for all of us. Not the hosts fault but there was no AC and it was a hot week. I misread the info and thought there was AC. So we were not mentally prepared for that but host did provide many fans in the house. Which did help. Also not hosts fault at all but again was not mentally prepared for Mayfly season. We knew it would be buggy based on the area and it being July but experiencing this Mayfly hatch was out of a horror movie. We couldn’t enjoy outdoors once sunset hit and we had multiple days of having to clean up mounds of dead mayfly’s off the decks and windows/doors. Overall those 2 things did not dampen our time and we found humor in it. It was a great trip and great house and would stay again. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!"
