"On First reservation we had a few problems, from TV not working in room, from breakfast waiting over 30 min for some eggs, from not having toiletries, and bar guy being rude and not helping when I asked questions about drinks."

"The hotel is close to shuttle to take you to Cog railway and close to Garden of the Gods. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. The breakfast was less than desirable. The eggs were crumbly the French fries were under cooked (who serves French fries for breakfast) and the sausage patty was over cooked. Even the waffles were not great. Could put a little more effort into the breakfast. Only seen the server once and then never again. Only one suitcase stand. The tea was only black tea, would be nice to have a variety."

"Room worked for our needs. Certain things were definitely being neglected. The shower/tub was flaking away and the bottom had a large crack. Corners of the furniture were worn away showing the crumbling particle board. Freezer storage in the mini fridge was severely coated in ice and desperately needs to be properly defrosted and deep cleaned. Iron board cushion was falling off as the string to tighten it was pulled out of the sincher. The vending machines were totally broken and the luggage dollys were pretty beat up. The hotel was overall clean and the breakfast was decent for the 7 days we were there. Some hotel guests were super nasty and clearly had no regard for the staff or fellow guests as they would leave the breakfast area in poor shape. Parking is free but the lot fills up very fast during the evenings and several days there were trucks double parked or so crooked practically double parking. Staff were very friendly and helped when needed. I truly liked the laundry facility. It isn't fancy or anything but it's nice to wash clothes for the return journey and not have a suitcase filled with smelly clothes. It was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. I got a mini laundry soap and rinse aid from the dollar store nearby which was convenient. Overall, I would recommend this place as it is very close to several attractions that we wanted to see making travel plans very convenient."
