"Would be good to have simple cooking amenities like cooking oil, salt, pepper. Was only sent the unlocking number after I messaged (did not receive an email that was supposed to be sent 24 hrs before check-in). Location instructions was unclear from the booking confirmation, only managed to find accommodation after host contacted via whatsapp."

It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian!
The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there.

We stayed here for 2 nights, quite disappointed there is no crab on the first day breakfast..but luckily we had crab on the last day breakfast, yeah!
our room has oceanview and we really enjoy the view; hotel has supplied kimono and we really love it, the bed is so comfy and room is big and clean; staffs are nice and explained all the amenities to us; they have water supply at each floor and free parking in the front

What are vacation rentals like in Maniwa?
Vacation rentals are private properties you can book for a few days or a quick weekend in Maniwa. Vacation rentals offer extras such as WiFi and washers and dryers to help you enjoy your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitized environment, a vacation rental can offer a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel elevators and busy concierge desks while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a vacation rental than in a hotel, which makes a vacation rental an attractive option for a family trip.
