"A peaceful, private cottage with a lovely countryside feel. Nice sitting area under the shade as well as full sun lounging area. The fig trees were alive with birds and butterflies eating the ripe fruits, on our visit mid-September. Everything we needed was provided, with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge/reading area. Vero has a local bar but seems to be only open in summer months; the Post Office(located in Town Hall) does not provide stamps for the UK. Nearest supermarket is...

"My husband and I had a lovely stay here while we completed several day hikes in Northern Corsica. The owners were wonderful hosts. We really appreciated the bounty they shared from the fruit and vegetable garden on the property. The view from the shared pool was amazing, and the patios were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. With a rental car, we found it easy to access multiple trailheads for hiking in Northern Corsica, from Losari to Vivario. We would definitely come back here!"

"Nous avons occupé l'hébergement lors d'un séjour tourné vers le canyoning. La maison est idéal pour accueillir un groupe d'adultes, les chambres sont très agréables, les espaces de vie parfait pour les soirées de partage autour d'un apéro et du repas. Qui plus est la localisation et la splendide vue ont font une destination à recommander."

"Heel leuk huisje naast de woning van de eigenaar. Leuke tuin met veel privacy. Rustige buurt en op loopafstand van strand en centrum Calvi. Huisje zelf was niet echt schoon bij aankomst. Geen WiFi terwijl dit wel vermeld stond. Aardige eigenaresse. We hebben wel een fantastisch verblijf gehad."

"Excellent séjour avec couple d'amis. Maison parfaite pour 4 personnes, bien décorée avec des extérieurs (terrasses, piscine) magnifiques. La vue de la maison sur les montagnes est époustouflante et le silence divin malgre l emplacement en plein centre du village. Christophe est un hôte très a l'écoute. "This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

"Très bon séjour dans cette villa avec vue exceptionnelle sur mer, montagne et coucher de soleil. Emplacement au calme avec de charmants villages et restaurants alentour. Seul petit détail du séjour : ajouter une pancarte signalisant l’entrée du domaine et des villas. PS: les serviettes étaient neuves et ne séchaient donc pas idéalement et boulochaient."

The university town of Corte, ten minutes drive away, has a pleasant atmosphere, quite different to the holiday resorts on the coast.
