Der Ort Magarita liegt zentral, so dass Turin, Asti und Alba und die zahlreichen schönen Alpentäler gut zu erreichen sind. Selbst am Mittelmeer z.B. in Albenga, ist man in weniger als 90 Minuten. Der fast überganslose Wechsel von der Ebene zu den schneebedeckten Gipfeln der Alpen ist grandios."

"We only stayed three nights in Cuneo, way to short. The apartment had excellent air conditioning and everything we required for a comfortable and restful stay. The apartment is centrally located, but parking was convenient and allowed for an easy in and out of the town. Cuneo is beautiful: plenty of things to do and see, plus excellent restaurants close by. Best of all, Silvio was a fabulous host who was responsive and cared about our particular needs. We will be back!"

"Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und klassisch italienisch eingerichtet. Sie liegt mitten im Ort an der Hauptstraße ins Grana-Tal. Man sollte also nicht besonders lärmempfindlich sein. Caraglio ist eine oberitalienische Kleinstadt ohne besondere touristische Ambitionen am Rande des Val di Grana. Dadurch aber auch guter Ausgangspunkt sowohl für Touren ins Piemont und ins Val di Maira. Die Wohnung ist allerdings mehr als Bed & Breakfast ausgelegt. So war anfangs erst mal kein Besteck und kaum Kockbesteck...

Sie haben uns herzlich mit Leckereien empfangen und konnten stets mit tollen Insidertipps, z.B. fpr Restaurants weiterhelfen. Besonders was Wanderungen jeglichen Schwierigkeitsgrads anbetrifft, ist Peter ein Experte! Die abgeschiedene Lage mit ihrer spektakulären Aussicht trug viel zur Erholung bei. An die Auffahrt mit engen Haarnadelkurven gewöhnt man...

"Elisa was a wonderful host—really nice, welcoming, and helpful. She got me information on buses and taxis, and even gave me a ride to the train. The apartment is spacious with spectacular views of the vineyards around. Bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked. The building has lots of little kittens running around, too, who are very cute! But they’re shy, so they won’t bother you if you don’t like cats. It’s probably better to have a car when you stay here—I walked to La Morra...
