"Lovely stay with lovely staff. Enjoyed the whole thing and would recommend Strawberry Pension. Only criticism is poor communication before arrived as we asked for 2 rooms next to one another (large family) which both the venue and Expedia did not respond to. Also the pool is adequate but looks a bit tired and may be needs a clean. Rooms are fab and everything else really nice. Thank you "

"The view was beautiful and the walk to town was a little over 20 minutes, that said our room had a terrible smell in the 'kitchen area closet' they tried to clean it on the second day but it smelled so bad we had to sleep with the door open. The rest of the room was clean, towels were very rough (maybe air dried). I wish I could score it higher but the smell (like a dead animal) really ruined our stay, it was good we were gone most of the day. "

"This was a great hotel! The superior triple room we stayed in was a good size, we loved the sea view and the hotel was so clean! The cleaners came everyday and I cannot fault anything! The pool was very clean and the grounds well maintained. The pool bar was so good and the food some of the best we had on the island. The family running it were very kind and arranged taxis whenever we needed. Loved the stay. Only downside is the hill but if you want an amazing view it’s the price you pay! You can...

"Lovely room in The Water overlooking the sea, perfect to people watch and observe the activity on the port. Lovely friendly staff. Bathroom a bit dark, but that’s the only negative. Would definitely recommend."
