First time at this Ritz- Carlton and it was all that the Ritz is known for. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is professional and try to anticipate your every need. The restaurants had some amazing food, even for our "casual' dining preference. The Golf Club at Dove Mountain was in excellent shape...be prepared for some challenging greens.
I would like to warn others that the daily resort fee at this resort is now $50, and is not included in the Expedia price. In fact, Expedia reported the...

This is my kind of camping: desert all around, a sky full of stars, and a real bed. The tent was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a working hot shower. Outside, we had a deck, gas grill, firepit, and places to sit. Other tents were within sight, but it still felt quiet and remote.
Conny, our host, was welcoming and helpful, and checkout went smoothly. I brought my telescope and enjoyed a clear night of astrophotography, which was a highlight of the stay.

I have stayed at the Omni Tucson National many times over the last 30 years. Always enjoyed coming here. As one of Tucson’s smaller resorts, it has lots to offer. This trip was for a girlfriend’s weekend and we stayed in the Casita rooms. We got a great rate on Expedia, which made it even better! I was super excited when I found out my room was a Casita suite which included a little kitchen area with the fridge, a dining table, fireplace, small sectional, and a super comfortable king bed! I forgot to take pictures before we cluttered the place up! It was clean, presented well, and was very good overall.
The bathroom was split - shower/toilet with a door and the sink/vanity right outside. Shower head was standard, but the curved outward curtain rod made it feel more roomy. No hair dryer (that I could see), but plenty of hangars and a couple of suitcase racks in the closet. Standard hotel coffee maker too.
Tv was a good size, the microwave was adjustable, and the fridge...

We enjoyed our trip to Tucson. Candlewood Suites was a good choice and we enjoyed it. John at reception was an excellent host and he assisted us with an early move in as we had a baby who was tired and needed an afternoon nap. The room was clean, comfortble and the kitchenette was convenient to have. The pool was clean with enough clean towels and the hotel was quiet at night. Beds were comfortable with enough pillows to choose from. We will defnitely recommend the hotel and will stay there...
